Since 2014, The Celtic Social Club has taken us much further than we ever imagined possible.
And yet, none of this was part of the original plan.In fact, the story could easily have ended almost before it had begun.
After that incredible first show in front of 45,000 people in Brittany, a major record label came to us with a genuine buyout offer. Not vague conversations. Not empty promises. A real financial offer to acquire what they had already identified as a brand. It was a serious offer. A very serious one. But Manu, the founder of The Celtic Social Club, said no.Without hesitation.
Because that was never the point.
The dream was simply to hit the road with friends and take a music built on sharing around the world.
To discover new countries. To meet different cultures. To blend influences, languages and emotions. To create something alive. Something constantly evolving. Something that couldn't be completely controlled. So the journey continued. Some of the original members moved on. Others joined, bringing bold new identities that helped the band reach new heights.
For more than twelve years, The Celtic Social Club has travelled far and wide, sometimes to the most unexpected places.
We've met musicians from completely different musical worlds.Shared languages.
Discovered new cultures, unforgettable food, different ways of life and traditions that were sometimes surprising, but always fascinating.
We've played for hundreds of thousands of people.
Some of you have been with us since day one.
Others joined us for part of the journey before following different paths. Some were surprised—or even unsettled—by the changing voices, the musical evolution and the new faces. But we've always trusted our instincts. Always stayed true to ourselves. Always chosen movement over comfort. And today, you're still here. More of you than ever. Loyal. Standing beside us through this extraordinary adventure. The tribe that now surrounds The Celtic Social Club is large. Colourful. Multicultural. And perhaps that's the greatest proof of what this adventure has become over the years: an open, living and free community.
So, to thank you for your support, your loyalty and your trust, we wanted to give you something special.
A moment in the life of The Celtic Social Club. A glimpse behind the scenes. A look back at a very special chapter in our story: our very first concert in Dublin. We won't say any more.
